Always so sad to see headstones displaced from their home. Everyone deserves to be remembered. Not too far from where I live the state wanted to put in a road and lake where a cemetery was. Oral history says they moved the stones but not the graves. Another local pioneer cemetery was lost because the farmer whose field the cemetery was in decided he wanted the space for more crops. So, he just pushed the markers into the ditch and plowed everything over. Not everyone respects burial places. So glad you reached out to the cemetery.

There were some good people who truly carried for those kids. They were a co-ed campus for a long time. They changed to a quasi military type institution at one time. They changed back to girls only.

Thanks. If you are ever in Mansfield Ohio, and you like creepy old prisons, be sure to check out the Ohio state reformatory. Its where Shawshank Redemption was filmed. So many fascinating things to see and learn there.

It would be nice if the control box and screen could fold down as well for easier storage when traveling. None of the detector manufactures have thought of this yet and it would be a winning feature for experienced metal detectorists to have a detector that fits easily in small back pack and still leave room for a little more gear. Or a carry on travel bag on an airplane.
